So I recently came across a few crafty blogs which got me inspired and gave me the idea to create a Dessert Plate. I made a trip to my local Thrift Store and picked up a few plates and champagne glasses. Once I got home I played around with the combination of layers and dabbed a little gorilla glue and this is what I came up with. This was such a super easy project and I love the result and the savings are unbeatable.

Airplane Party
Just had a wonderful 1st Birthday for my little boy Kayden. Along the way we encountered several hiccups but keeping a positive attitude, it turned out to be a very Joyous Day.
For Kayden's first Birthday, I wanted to do a non-commercial theme party and came up with an Airplane theme. I found some graphics at Esty which pulled all my ideas together. Kayden's grandparents purchased his 3-D custom made pinata in a little shop in San Diego. My wonderful sister-in-law entertained the kids with fun games and prizes. I made some marshmallow propeller's and red velvet cakepops. And my extremely talented friend Leslie from Lil' Monkeys Cakes & More designed a wonderful cake which was amazing.
Despite the non-stop pouring rain and difficult to find location Our family and friends made this a day to remember for our little boy. So grateful for such a loving and supportive family and wonderful friends.
